ABI is proud to partner with Cathwel Service of Taiwan. The Taiwan adoption program is a great option for
families who have the resources to parent children with mild to severe special needs. These needs
include developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, medical needs, and children or sibling
groups who are simply older. Children of all ages are available for adoption. Expected adoption
processing time is between nine and twelve months.
Families meeting the following criteria may be suitable to adopt from Taiwan:
- Adoptive parents should be between the ages of 30 to 50 years old
- Adoptive parents should have been married for at least 5 years
- Adoptive parents should be in good health and be financially stable
- Singles are not considered for adoption from Taiwan
